Partner Listening

Partners are, in fact, part-owners of firms. Being part owners or investors, partners have responsibilities and obligations to their firm and a right to be involved in decisions on how their companies are run. But the partner model can also be difficult to navigate.

Enabling people to speak up requires effective listening and an understanding of how power, peers and perspective affect the possibilities of them really sharing their thoughts.

Our Offering

Discovery

We first invite the management board to clarify its Ambition for the business. What issue needs to be resolved or question answered?

 Once the Ambition is determined, the managing board then shares its Commitment to listening and taking action. Beware, this is a big commitment and will take some work.

Examination

We then facilitate a workshop with the management board and the partners in which we share the main outcomes from the interviews and help formulate action points.

 This workshop can take the form of a full day’s face-to-face session, a couple of shorter face-to-face discussions or online meetings; whichever works for your company’s needs.

 
 

Insights

We then undertake a series of brief interviews in which we invite partners to Speak Up and gather feedback on the company culture and the issue at hand.

Activation

Following the workshop, we will report on the action points, appoint action owners and update the management board and the directors/partners monthly, with a follow up event after 6 months.
