Crossing Boundaries
Following on directly on from LFA 2019 and this year’s theme of Boundaries, this free event hosted by De Ruyter Netwerk features a panel discussion chaired by Daphne Thissen that will examine boundaries—how they are changing or even disappearing—in the interfaces between engineering and architecture in the construction industry today. Crossing Boundaries will raise interesting questions and offer expert insight into some of the key current issues in construction and the professional disciplines upon which it relies.
The panel discussion with Architect Edward Marchand, Associate Director at Bennetts Associates, and two other panelists: architect and Associate at Hutchinson & Partners, Sabine Hogenhout and Luca Frasca, Senior Associate Structural Engineer at Alan Baxter Ltd. A key area of the discussion will focus on pressing issues and new evolutions in the way that architects and engineers collaborate on large-scale building projects.
This free event is open to the public. Whilst it is obviously most likely to appeal to those in architecture, engineering, construction, design and related professions, it is not restricted to any particular sector.
The event is supported by by Spaces and takes place at Spaces Farringdon on Weds 3 July 2019.
